Superglide 120 Stairlift

A personal straight stairlift designed for the domestic user. Features include: maintenance-free DC (battery) power, easy to use Paddle control, diagnostic digital display, smooth start/stop action, lockable isolation switch, swivel seat, near silent operation, fold-up seat & footrest, infra-red remote control, safety cut-out sensors and dual electronic and mechanical braking systems.

The comfortable swivel seat folds when not in use and has a locking catch. If the seat is not in the correct position, the stairlift will be unoperable until the seat has been placed into the correct position.

Acorn stairlifts are powered by direct current (DC) supplied by rechargeable batteries. These deliver a smooth, ultra-quiet and safe ride quality. If there is ever a power failure in your home your stairlift continues to function, so you will never get stranded. There is no mains voltage power to your stairlift. As the power supply is onboard the stairlift itself there is no troublesome trailing cable as with mains powered lifts.

Easy to Use
A fold away footrest means that the stairs remain available for use by others, when the stairlift is not in use. The noise levels of the Stairlift are whisper quiet, due to the stairlifts' DC power supply. The lift can be 'sent' or 'called' to wherever it is needed by using the infra-red remote control. As the lift starts and finishes its journey, there will be no jolting or lurching due to Acorns rack & pinion drive.

The peerless ride quality is attributed to the unique rail profile and chassis roller system working in conjunction with the DC power and rack and pinion drive systems. Such features, along with ther unique double-tube rail profile, gives the smoothest, quietest and most luxurious ride quality currently available, and a superb feeling of safety and stability when using the stairlift.

Extremely safe to use
The lifts exceed electrical standards eliminating any risk of electric shock. Dual electronic and mechanical braking systems eliminate the possibility of an uncontrolled descent. Lockable isolation switch to ensure that the stairlift always stops in the correct position, and pressure-sensitive safety surfaces that prevent the lift from colliding with any stairway obstructions.

Easy installation and Maintenance
Because we use our own fully trained Installation Engineers, the process is quick, clean and simple. Factory-prepared for installation - each stairlift is individually built to the dimensions of your own staircase. No mains wiring necessary - so there's no need for expensive and disruptive alteration to the mains power supply or for an electrician. Power for the lift is derived from 2 x 12 volt maintenance free batteries charged via an independent transformer.
