Class 3 scooters full suspension, are heavier and can be used on roads at up to 8 mph. They can switch to a maximum of 4 mph for pavement or indoor use. Class 3 vehicle users do not require a driving license but should obey the highway code at all times and comply with the relevant eyesight, alcohol, and drugs regulations.

You are required to register with the DVLA and display a tax disc (free of charge). Our Mobility Advisers will be pleased to complete the necessary paperwork for you. Class 3 vehicles are not allowed on motorways or bus/cycle lanes. Insurance is not legally required but all Class 3 vehicles must be fitted with front and rear lights, indicators, horn, mirrors and reflectors.
